If the house was painted in the last few weeks, say so. Dark colors and fresh latex need cure time before paper. Hanging the week the painter leaves is how seams open when monsoon humidity arrives.
Material you already bought
Bring the label: brand, pattern number, dye lot, and match type. Order waste. A large repeat on a 10-foot wall in a Surprise two-story can burn a roll that a small powder room would not. If lots do not match, the shading will show on grasscloth and on many printed papers. We would rather delay a day than hang two lots on one wall and call it close enough.
Rooms
Dining rooms, primary bedrooms, offices, stair walls, and powder baths are the core of the residential schedule. Kitchens and full baths are a material decision, covered under bathrooms and kitchens. Whole-house paper is uncommon in these floor plans. One or two walls, done correctly, is what most people actually want — see murals and accent walls.

How long does a room take?
A prepared accent wall is often a half day. A full room with a large repeat, or any wall that still needs skim coat and primer, takes longer and may be two visits.
Do I need to move furniture?
Yes, away from the walls we are hanging. We need a clear path and a clean floor for paste and cuts.
Will you install over existing wallpaper?
Only if that paper is sound, smooth, and firmly stuck — and even then primer is required. Painted vinyl and lifting seams come off first.
